Ladybugs. Lots and lots of ladybugs.

My mom and I both love a movie that not a whole lot of people know about. It's called Under the Tuscan Sun. In the movie, one of the characters tells the story "when I was a little girl I used to spend hours looking for ladybugs. Finally, I'd just give up and fall asleep in the grass. When I woke up, they were crawling all over me. Work on your house and forget about it!" The point of her sharing this story was to tell the main character that you can chase happiness all you want to, but it is always going to find you when you least expect it and when you stop hunting for it. A while later in the movie, the main character goes back to her, after working on her house and inadvertently finding happiness, and simply says "Ladybugs, Katherine. Lots and lots of ladybugs." After watching that movie, I decided to take it in as a life motto. I later decided it was also a good blog title. So I am going to post all the things that make me forget all the nonsense and hope that some happiness finds me along the way. :)
